Statement of Faith
Origin:
The school is situated at Nawanende which is located in Bugulumbya
subcounty, Buzaaya county, Kamuli District. It is about 8 kilometres
from Kasambira which is along the Jinja-Kamuli Road.
Staff:
This comprises of twenty staff members, 17 of whom are teaching
staff members.
Academic Performance:
The performance at U.C.E Examinations has so far been good. We
get first grades every year since we started sitting U.C.E exams.
Our UNEB centre is U1764.
Curriculum:
We offer the following subjects: English language, Literature
in English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture,
Geography, History, Christian Religious Education, Political Education,
Commerce, Accounts, Fine Art and Computer studies.
In future, we intend to include vocational training and tailoring,
catering, brick making and laying, concrete practice. e.t.c
A-level: We are beginning Advanced level studies next year.
Co-curricular activities
We participate very actively in extra curricular activities such
as; Football, netball, volleyball, athletics, women football to
mention but a few.
We excelled in football and won the Buzaaya county trophy. We
participated and fared well in women football at National level.
U.S.E
Although ours is a private school, we were honoured by the government
when they offered us the U.S.E programme – the Universal
Secondary Education – where successful students in PLE have
their fees paid by the government.
Orphans
We offer assistance to a number of orphans. We are lobbying NGOs
to lend a hand in this matter.
Facilities
We have a number of computers, a duplicating machine, a canteen
and a salon for use by staff and students. There is a sick bay
where students are treated.
Feeding:
Students have breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. They feed on
the best quality posho and beans. Diet is varied twice a week.
Careers and Guidance
We assist students in choosing the suitable subjects which will
lead them to professional courses in their future. We also follow
up those students who seem to fail to make progress after their
‘O’ level and help them to find what to do.

We are linked to some agencies in U.S.A and Kenya.
Scholarships
Students who perform well in academics and co-curricular activities
have their fees reduced the following term.
Uniform
Students dress in green trousers for boys and green skirts for
girls and white shirts or blouses respectively. They all wear
black, plain shoes. There is a neck-tie, the clothing’s
are bought at school, to avoid the various fashions.
Religious Affairs
All students are free to worship in their different religious
denominations at the school campus.
Banking
We use the Stanbic bank and the Barclays bank.
